We built this because our own desks were letting us down.
Good desk gear seemed to come in two types: flimsy plastic dressed up in nice photos, or pieces that looked premium but weren't built around how anyone actually works. We wanted something in between: gear built well, and built around you, not the other way round.
Built around you
Height. Angle. Position. Every accessory we make adjusts to how you actually sit, not however a factory decided you should. Most workspace gear gives you one fixed shape and calls it ergonomic. Ours moves because you do.
Built to last
Most budget stands are chipboard or MDF with a wood-look wrap over the top, and it shows within a year, corners chip, joints loosen, the finish scuffs through. Ours start with plywood, finished in real walnut veneer, standing on metal feet that actually carry the weight. The felt desk mat that goes with it follows the same principle: dense enough to matter, not the thin stuff that flattens by week three.
One finish, on purpose
We tried a handful of finishes and kept exactly one: walnut. Not because it's trendy, but because it's the one finish that sits comfortably next to any desk you've already got, white, black, teak, whatever it is. One finish, chosen carefully, beats five finishes chosen to look good in a catalogue.
Small, and honest about it
We're a small New Zealand team, we ship fast, and we offset the carbon footprint of every order through verified removal projects. Not because it tests well in marketing, but because it's a cost we'd rather absorb than ignore.
